Choose Joy

One spectrum of simply walking out the kingdom of God is displaying the character of joy throughout your day and noticing the change around you.

A simple smile draws people in and a question acknowledges their presence.

Example, *smiles* - how is your day?

Prov 15:23: A person finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word!

Surprisingly enough this can be the beginning of your ministry.

We are all in a field of customer service. We are all either working with people or for people. There is no way around conversing with them. Your ministry is not in Africa right now, that’s okay, you have a playing field of customer service every single day.

Take a moment to think about how many interactions with people you have in a day.

What is your normal day-to-day routine? Who do you come across?

Now think about your interactions with these people. How often are you smiling? Then ask yourself, why or why not? How often does that smile take you into a conversation…why or why not?

Replaying back our days is how we can learn to grow from our actions, which we create from our perspective. I encourage you to change your perspective of ministry into an everyday opportunity.

Opportunities are ALL around us. It is our choice to engage or not.

The kingdom doesn’t do mundane… so what makes you think you have to?

Heb 12:2: fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Choose joy.

Romans 15:13: 13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
